The armpit is considered one the most painful areas to get inked, along with the bony spots such as the elbow, patella, feet, spinal column and hands. The sternum part of the rib area is painful, while the point of the hip and the area around the kidneys can also be hard to get tattooed if you have a low pain threshold.
