Bentley Home, the luxury furniture arm of Bentley Motors, has just unveiled its 2021 collection, and boy oh boy is it something! The new four-piece collection oozes sophistication and elegance. Designed by Italian architect Carlo Colombo, who works hand in hand with Bentley’s creative team Bentley Design, the collection is made up of the Ramsey Sofa and Loveseat, the Styal Desk, the Aldford Table, and Newent Armchair. Bentley Home Bentley Home Each piece is inspired by Bentley automobiles and takes advantage of Bentley’s patented Marm More technology. This new fabric incorporates the dust that is a by-product of marble production. Produced in Italy, this stylish marble textile provides innovative technical performance and aesthetic qualities. Bentley Home Bentley Home The furniture also uses a new Degradé lacquering process that involves hand-applied varnish that creates a bespoke look. After the first coat, the furniture is polished and a further four coats of varnish are applied before a final round of polishing. This finish is available in several color options: Deep Ocean, Midnight Walnut, Black Kenya, Dark Shadow, Rust Degradé, Silver Degradé, and Bronze Degradé. There’s no word on how much these pieces will be, but considering some Bentley couches have sold for over $20,000, you better make sure you had a bit stashed away.
