With a waterproof and breathable HydroGuard seal-sealed construction, these men’s Forsake Trail boots will keep your feet dry and comfortable regardless of where you go. Aside from an already great seam-sealed internal membrane, you’ll also find a really nice gusseted tongue which keeps water, dirt and other outdoor debris where they belong, out! To keep things comfortable beyond protection from the elements, Forsake has also included a compression EVA midsole, open-cell polyurethane footbed, and composite shank support. In terms of foot comfort, I was really impressed with just how well these snugged up against my feet. The padded collar is another nice touch while the metal lace-up closures work excellent for getting that precise, perfect fit. Quick Highlights:
Available in tan, stone and tan/cypress color options Waterproof and breathable HydroGuard seam-sealed internal membrane Gusseted tongues to block out unwanted water and debris Peak-to-Pavement outsole with directions lugs Compression EVA Midsole Open-cell polyurethane footbed with anti-microbial treatment Nylon laces with included alternate laces Heathered textile, suede and full-grain leather construction 16oz weight 100% guarantee Composite shank support Lace-up footwear closure 5.5” boot height
Men’s Forsake Trail Boots Review
After tying up the nylon laces and going for a long hike, I noticed a few things. The 16 oz. weight of these boots is wonderful given their 5.5” height. They feel natural to move around with and really work their magic to eliminate foot fatigue. At the bottom of the men’s Forsake Trail boots, you’ll find a rather unique peak-to-pavement outsole with directional lugs. On both downtown street pavement and loose rocky trails, these boots performed terrifically. Aside from the added confidence with each step forward, I really liked just how well these looked while wearing a pair. The heathered textile, suede and full-grain leather give off a really sharp, masculine look that’s neatly refined. There are a lot of hiking boots out there these days, but let’s face it, the majority go for this over the top look. It’s refreshing to see men’s boots that look good both on and off the trail.
