Famed luxury carmaker Bugatti has teamed with German electronic brand Tidal Audio for the ultimate in aural home pleasure. Hailed as “the Bugatti of home audio,” these vibrant speakers are inspired by the Bugatti Type 41. The luxurious car – only in production from 1927 to 1933 – was nicknamed the “Royale” due to many hailing it the most opulent vehicle ever built. Tidal and Bugatti pay homage to the classic car by naming their high-end speakers after it.

The Royale range of home speakers is designed to emulate the famed Bugatti, with shapely curves and piano gloss finishes. There are two speakers to chose from – Monocoque and Duotone – with each available in different color schemes and material combinations. You can choose to customize the speaker with carbon fiber, fabric, leather, polished stainless steel, dark aluminum or precious metal surfaces. The speakers also have the famous Bugatti logo rendered in polished stainless steel on the front.

When it comes to what’s under the hood, so to speak, each of the home audio systems comes with four subwoofers, a three-way front speaker, and a diamond-diaphragm tweeter – with the tweeter created from the same technology found in an actual Bugatti. The vertical speakers can also connect to a variety of sources, including music streaming services and TVs, making them perfect for your lounge room or mancave.

Bugatti is yet to reveal how much these top-quality speakers will be, but considering what they sell their cars for, be prepared to dig deep into your pockets. There’s also a limited edition run of 15 pairs of Edition Noir and Edition Blanc speakers that will no doubt be chock full of features and set you back a pretty penny.
